PSR — Personal Social Responsibility

The experiential goodness curriculum, kindergarten to graduation, co-created with IIT and IIM faculty — and the Institute's goal of making it compulsory in every Indian school by 2030.

Bring PSR to your school

Seven pillars of learning

The purpose of education is not to enhance the memory of students; it is to enhance their ability to learn.

Learn to learn

Curiosity, method and the habit of asking better questions.

Learn to think

Reasoning, evidence and independent judgement.

Learn to adapt

Resilience and agency in a changing world.

Learn to collaborate

Working across difference toward shared goals.

Learn to flourish

The Pentad of Life: physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual.

Learn goodness

The Five Foundations practised, reflected on and measured.

Learn to relearn

Unlearning and renewal as a lifelong discipline.

Learn to serve

Contribution beyond oneself — the Institute's addition for India.

How PSR is taught

Experiential, age-appropriate and measurable — no moral lectures.

K–5: Foundations

Play, stories and classroom rituals that make honesty, sharing and care habitual. 30 minutes a week.

Grades 6–12: Practice

Projects in the community, reflective journals and the first private Goodness Score at 14.

College: Leadership

Mission Chetna field placements, GI research electives and the National Goodness Awards for student changemakers.
